Want to help with Homeschool Music Fest? Whatever you can do, we’re excited to have you on board! Here are some ideas for ways to help:
- Pray. The purpose of Homeschool Music Fest is to bring God glory, and there are many challenges along the way. Please pray for our organizers and volunteers to have wisdom and endurance, for provision of resources for the event, and for each life to be touched in a special way during Homeschool Music Fest.
- Attend – and bring others. This may sound obvious, but the main thing an event like this needs to keep going is people attending the event. The more people come through that gate, the smaller the portion of expenses is shared by each.
- Donate. Renting Camp Galilee is expensive, and we strive to strike a balance between defraying that expense and making the Fest affordable for as many people as possible. A donation in any amount helps! Checks can be mailed to: Homeschool Music Fest, 9535 SW 400 PVT. RD., El Dorado Springs, MO 64744. You may also donate checks or cash at the event. If you are planning to attend this year and donate money over and above your admission cost, please fill out the relevant box on the registration page to have your donation added as a reminder to your invoice.
- Volunteer. We need individuals and families to help in the kitchen, decorate, take out the trash, clean up the campsite, and more. Please contact us if interested, and we will see to it that you are placed on a team.
- Set up secondary band engagements. If you serve at a church or know someone who does, one of the most helpful things you can do is get our bands invited to other venues the week of Homeschool Music Fest. Some of them come from a long distance, and this helps them defray the cost of their trip to the area – and encourages them to come back next year!
